Steve from Pacific Patios was excellent!

‘From start to finish, running me though the process and providing a quote, drawings & plan on first initial consultation.

Steve really knew his stuff and gave me confidence he would do a proper professional job. That’s exactly what he did.

Communication was excellent, his boys were great and went above & beyond. I couldn’t be more happy with the experience and results! Cheers Pacific Patios!’

Enclosed Patios Gold Coast

Mozzies, hot afternoon sun, storms, high winds, humidity – they’re all good ways to kill your outdoor experience.

Enclosing your patio is a simple way to keep the worst of the Gold Coast’s weather at bay.

Pulldown shade screens can cut back on glare and heat.

A flyscreen–louvre combination can eliminate bugs and rain.

You can even add glass panelling and air conditioning for indoor comfort with the casual feel of a traditional patio.

Find out how our designers can help you create a weatherproofed space that’s useable at any time of year.

Custom Patio Designs

You know what your property needs – and it’s not an off-the-shelf COLORBOND patio.

Maybe you have an idea, a general concept that needs fleshing out with the support of a design consultant.

Or maybe you’ve already worked out the specifications and materials, right down to the wood you want used for your decking.

Wherever your project is up to, we’ll help make it happen.

Material and paint matching, cooking station installation, custom parts manufacturing – our design and installation specialists can do it all.

Patio Knockdown Rebuilds

A patio you don’t use is worse than not having one at all.

Bad design, old roofing, structural defects – each one can contribute to a subpar experience that keeps you indoors.

Renovation is an option, but a knockdown rebuild is often the most cost-effective way to restore your patio to full usability.

You’ll get a modern space that adds to your property’s value – and fix potentially hazardous issues like mouldy insulation or weakened framing timber (which is especially common with softwood).

Get in touch with us to find out exactly how the knockdown rebuild processes could work for you.

Luke from Pacific Patios has been fantastic to deal with from beginning to end

‘Luke provided a competitive quote, created a great design (patio roof over an existing deck) and then built it using high quality materials.

He answered all of our questions and kept us involved in the project.

The patio looks fantastic and has improved the use of the deck with shade and weather protection.

I would recommend using Pacific Patios to friends & family and will likely use them again in the future.’

Patio, Deck

Coomera

Our Coomera clients came to us with their vision of a stunning, easy-care entertaining area – one that would be enjoyable all year round.

We installed a modern insulated patio with a cladded wall, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor flow. Underneath, we laid a composite deck, delivering a timber aesthetic without the upkeep.

The finishing touch? A stylish outdoor kitchen equipped with everything our clients need to enjoy time with family and friends.

Willowvale

Tucked away on beautiful acreage in Willowvale, our clients are a fun-loving family who live for big get-togethers, backyard barbecues, and long weekend lunches with friends.

When they came to us, they had one main request: they wanted a patio that made entertaining easy – but didn’t block their stunning country views.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a patio, a pergola, a verandah, a porch, and a deck?

Many people use them interchangeably, but here’s how we define them.

A patio is any unraised, floored outdoor space designed for sitting and entertaining. The original Spanish style of patio was an open inner courtyard; today, most patios are covered and located next to houses. Most feature tiles or wooden decking, but concrete patios are also common.

A pergola is an attached or freestanding structure with at least four pillars or posts that covers a patio or path. It can be open (often, partially shaded by vines) or covered with a gable or skillion roof.

A verandah is a transitional space between indoors and outdoors. It runs alongside the main building, is covered (by either the main building’s roof or a separate skillion roof), and often features decking and railing. Verandahs tend to be longer and narrower than patios.

A porch is the outdoor space that precedes your front door. Porches are normally used to store shoes and greet guests, and may be raised or covered. Sometimes, they’re large enough to include seating. A porch can be part of a verandah.

A deck is a type of partially raised outdoor flooring. Decks normally include beams and support frames. They can be made from wood, steel or composite materials, and can be covered or uncovered. Most decks attach directly to a main structure.

What warranties do you offer?

We offer an 6.5-year structural warranty on all new builds and an 12-month defects liability period for non-structural defects. Individual parts and materials may have separate manufacturer’s warranties.

Remember: you’re also covered by the Australian Consumer Law, which means we have a legal obligation to deliver your patio with due skill and care (that is, in line with industry best practices and building codes), for the purposes you’ve told us about, and within a reasonable time.

Where do you build patios?

We design and construct patios for properties across the Gold Coast and Tweed. That includes homes as far north as Ormeau, as far south as Cabarita Beach, and as far west as Mount Tamborine and Canungra. To check whether your postcode falls within our service area, Give us a call on (07) 553 566 60.

Do you do paving or tiling?

No, we don’t, but we can install patio coverings over existing paved, tiled or concrete patios. If you’d like a referral to a concreter we trust, get in touch with us.

How much do covered patios cost?

The cost of a patio covering varies. For a custom installation that includes lighting, insulation, railings and more, you could pay anywhere from $7,000 to $70,000. Our average client spends around $18,000. We can help you source any other trades your project needs (like an electrician) and manage it for you.

Who builds patios near me?

If you’re reading this, we probably do. The best, most cost-effective way to create a patio on the Gold Coast is to work with a dedicated outdoor structures company like us. We take care of everything (including site prep, design, and council approval), we’ve refined our processes over the past 22 years for faster builds and fewer defects, and you’ll benefit from an 6.5-year structural guarantee.

Can you build a patio without council approval?

No. All projects we work on must have council approval. Before we start building your patio, we’ll liaise with council on your behalf. You don’t need to do anything.
