The homeowners wanted to capitalise on their highset position to enjoy their unique views. By adding a timber deck with steel wire balustrades and a flyover insulated roof, they expanded their home’s living area significantly.

Owners of this Runaway Bay house wanted to create an outdoor entertaining area to take advantage of their gorgeous water view. The insulated patio roof gives protection from the weather and the lighting allows the area to be used day and night. The outdoor kitchen area adds another dimension to the area.

Mermaid Waters patio roof with outdoor kitchen

This Mermaid Waters poolside patio roof has created a stunning outdoor dining area.  The built in outdoor kitchen is protected from the weather by aluminium louvres which allow for both airflow and rain protection. The owners have also installed patio blinds. The insulated patio roof gives the ultimate in cooling and a contemporary look. Black beams and kwila timber posts complete the look.

By adding a timber deck and patio roof the owners of this Thornlands house have created a beautifully defined outdoor entertainment area. Kwila posts have been used to tie the roof into the deck and give the whole area a seamless look.

The unusual shape of the deck allows the spa bath to be incorporated into this delightful outdoor living area. Stainless steel marine wire handrails allow an unimpeded view of the surroundings.

On this project , a timber slat feature wall was created for privacy and to hide the fence behind. Timber beams and posts work with the timber deck to create a stunning outdoor room to complement the pool area.

Beautiful Burleigh Waters deck and patio

A stunning kwila hardwood deck has been used in this project to define the outdoor dining area. Insulated patio roofing has been used to create the lined ceiling. The use of bulkheads and brick piers on the patio have been used to tie in to the homes architectural style. Paint colour selection was made to create an outdoor entertainment area that fully integrated with the existing home.

Enhancing the amazing view from this home was the focus for these homeowners. We worked with them to develop a design that allowed the to keep the structure simple with a clean line insulated roof and minimal posts. The roof was raised above the house roof to give extra height. And the view? Breathtaking!

Owners of this home wanted to lift the street appeal of their house. We developed a design that integrated the carport and gatehouse with the fence. For a point of interest, the owners opted for a patterned garage door, providing additional security and privacy for the house and its occupants.

A simple, freestanding patio roof by the pool has been used to great effect to create a covered outdoor barbeque area. By using a gable structure, we created additional height, allowing greater airflow and maintaining the open feel of the surrounding landscape.

Through creative design that followed the roofline of the existing house, we helped these homeowners achieve a seamless indoor/outdoor feel to their outdoor living extension. The patio roof height was maintained to afford continued enjoyment of the tranquil river views. The deck is kwila with a simple marine wire handrail which gives a casual easy living feel to the area.

Timber beams and posts have been used on this roof to create character, allowing a full integration with the existing timber deck. Glass handrails have been used to maintain the canal view. The height of this patio has allowed the fans and lighting to be used as an additional feature.

Waterfront living in this Palm Beach home has been transformed by the addition of a large deck and insulated roof. Low maintenance stainless steel marine wire has been used for the balustrading which integrates perfectly with the kwila decking. The insulated roofing provides an all weather entertaining area.
